Look at this beautiful baby blue polish kolor named"Jack Jack"! Jackson Stuckey is a precious little boy from Brandon, Mississippi. His story is below:
11, 2019 was supposed to be just a routine 9 month. Jack was being
examined by his pediatrician who felt a nodule/mass in the abdomen,
he asked if I had felt it or noticed it, we had not. He told me not
to get overly worried it may not be much of anything, Jack looked
great but he wanted to get an ultrasound the following day. So on
December 12 we went for an ultrasound that confirmed a large
abdominal mass, which due to its location it could have been three
types of tumors. Two hours later we were sent to Blair E Batson’s
Cancer Clinic, had a ct that we thought confirmed a Hepatoblastoma,
tumor of the liver. The next day December 13 Jackson was taken in to
surgery, that was the hardest moment of my life, sending my sweet
baby off to surgery and still trying to grasp the word cancer, that
six letter word that no parent ever wants to hear. The surgeon came
out and said he had good and bad news, what they originally thought
was a Hepatoblastoma ended up being a Neuroblastoma, tumor of the
adrenal gland. They removed the affected gland and was able to
completely remove all of the tumor. The surgeon was pretty confident
that his margins were clear but we had to wait for tumor path to come
back. Three weeks later, which were the longest three weeks of my
life, it was like time had stopped Jack’s tumor came back
Neuroblastoma Stage 1, his margins were clear and he needed no
chemo!! We still have to go monthly for labs and every three months
for imaging. Oncology said he will be followed well into his teens.
Jack’s age and the fact the tumor was completely removed was what
made his outcome so great! It really was a hard trying time in our
lives, my faith was shaken but we stayed strong and God has continued
to see us through and pour out many blessings. Those hours, days and
weeks are time that I never want to relive. Jack is currently a 1
year old happy, healthy, chunky baby boy and I can’t describe the
love we have for him.
His nickname is Jack Jack, which we gave to him when he was born because he was a strong, feisty little boy. He was born premature at 33wks and much like Jack Jack from the Incredibles he was an instant fighter! We decided to use his nickname for his polish name.
